I’m Lucas Muniz, and carpentry has been part of my life since the day I finished high school back in 2013. I dove into the trade headfirst—hands-on, job after job—until the craft became second nature. Over the years, I learned not just how to cut and build, but how to deliver work that feels intentional, clean, and lasting.

In 2018, I teamed up with my best friend, Thiago Guedes. We had both been working in the industry for a while, and we shared the same vision: to create a company that truly takes pride in the details and delivers high-end carpentry with heart. That’s how Mr. Trim LLC was born.

A little later, my father, Deziderio da Silva, joined us. He brought with him decades of experience and a work ethic that continues to shape our culture today. With the three of us leading the way, we’ve been able to grow Mr. Trim into what it is now—a trusted name for craftsmanship in Charleston and beyond.

At Mr. Trim, we treat every project like it matters—because it does. We’re not just installing trim, closets, or cabinetry—we’re building the finishing touches of people’s homes, and we take that seriously. We believe in clear communication, showing up when we say we will, and leaving every job cleaner and sharper than we found it.
